We understand that you have submitted a claim to Instacart for review. Choosing to file a claim directly with Instacart is voluntary. Instacart does not guarantee the outcome of its claim review or the turnaround time of claim resolution.

Pursuant to Instacart’s Independent Contractor Agreement, our independent contractors are responsible for obtaining all applicable insurance to perform their services, including automotive liability, workers' compensation, and any other necessary insurance, as well as licenses and permits usual or necessary for performing shopping and delivery services.

Further, pursuant to Instacart’s Terms of Service, customers agree that the services are provided by third-party contractors, and the customer assumes any risk arising out of their use of the services and/or the products requested.

As a condition of receiving payment for a claim, for claims processed in the United States we require a signed General Release, W-9 and a ACH form if direct deposit is the choice of payment. We do offer mailed checks in this region to a physical address. We do not mail checks to a P.O. Box address.

If the claim is processed in Canada we require a signed General Release, W-8 and an ACH form for all payments. We do not mail checks in this region.

Please allow up to 45 days from the signed date for payment handling and processing to complete. For tax record purposes, payments must be issued to the claimant. We are unable to pay third party vendors directly. Any missing/inaccurate information on the required forms will result in a delay of payment.
